We have had a V8 for the last 4 years. We bought the new V15 four weeks ago and have to say it’s very powerful. One downside though the filter! Because the V15 picks up so much more the filter clogs a lot faster than on the V8. I mean really fast one needs to check it after every major vacuum especially after the first time. I’ve ordered a spare filter so we can switch over whilst the dirty ones drying. I was a bit caught out as with the V8 it Rarely needed cleaning. Must be that the V15 is so much more powerful although I would have thought the cyclone would have done a better job.
Hi, deciding between dyson v15 detect animal OR dyson outsize OR dyson V11 absolute.. what would you suggest?
How would you compre this to Samsung Jet90? I’m juggling between both now !

I wish that they would reduce the size of the metal shroud. That will do a few things. 1, reduce the amount of dirt that goes through it, it will increase the dirt capacity of the bin, it will increase the centrifugal spinning forces generated within the bin, and it will cause less dirt to wrap around the shroud. Other than that, this vac is as awesome as it gets
I have been very skeptical about cordless Dyson models, but when V10 was launched they really stepped up the game. V15 is insanely good vacuum and despite the price people are willing to buy it and I can see why. Outsize is a bit too heavy for a stick vacuum, but V15 solves that problem.

Is there a compatible floor dock for the v15?
Bought this after seeing your reveiw to replace my v8. Personally I think the boost mode is waste of time because its doesn't move on the carpet and plus it's only last less than ten minutes. If I want to use this on boost I just use my sebo instead.

I’m going to buy a Dyson! We have low pile patterned carpet, tile and hardwood. The V15 isn’t available in Canada yet but I assume it will be pretty expensive. Is it worth the upgrade compared to the V11?
Stop comparing him to vacuum wars. Yes vacuum wars is better but this is a different style.
