I sometimes feel like "large debris" (cerial) get slightly over emphasied in the reviews. Maybe this is just me but generally I'll just sweep up chunky stuff like that: way quicker that getting the vacuum out for a bunch of fruit loops.
Conversely I want the vacuum to pick up dust and deep clean the carpet.
Just an opinion but I notice some high suction vacuums get flack for the large debris test.

Great video. So, another cordless enters the market. It looks pretty good. I've seen a couple of other videos on the tineco it looks pretty good. Perhaps dyson have another competitor.

well, time to change your favourite cordless vacuum at the info box? LOL

snackers1234 says:

Excellent comparison and points drawn between the two brands. I have both Dyson and Tineco vacuums, would like to see input on charge cycles and battery durability over time.

Travis Walls says:

Honestly as a sales representative your vacuum reviews are my go-to for deep features and comparisons, again great work, love your content.

Jon Bountalas says:

Here in Canada, Dyson sells the Absolute model, so you get the soft brush for the wooden floors. I'm happy with the vacuum. Getting rid of the stuff in the dustbin is good, you point the vacuum into the your trash can, push the red tab under the dustbin away from you, and the front of the vacuum opens and the dirt gets shot out, no muss, no fuss. The suction on the Dyson is pretty strong, great in the car, but it does give your forearm a work out.

benster5 says:

I think the deal breaker for me is the extra swappable battery on the Tineco. I know Dyson has an edge in the suction power, but being able to easily remove the battery and have another one readily available is a nice benefit (also throwing in an extra filter helps too). I had the very fiirst Dyson cordless(DC35) and the battery was easily removable with a push button release and it's a hassle now to take out the battery on their next gen cordless by undoing 2 tiny screws. I also had the first gen Motorhead, and currently have the V8 and the V10 Motorhead. The battery on my V8 has become discharged so I hardly use it anymore(looking to sell it as soon as I get a new battery replacement). The S12 may not be as powerful as the V11, but still has more power than the V10 and I thought that was crazy powerful enough. I hardly use my corded DC65 anymore unless I have serious cleaning work to do all over the home. The convenience of using a powerful cordless is too addicting.

Alex Beyer says:

How frustrating, just bought a dyson stick vacuum, it is annoying that it really struggles with larger debris, though that squeegee effect when you remove the canister is amazing and super effective at cleaning off the center grate.

Alicia B says:

These machines should have a cord option added…. for convenience for longer cleans.

thank you so much for the test! it is really good and interesting! I was wondering if you will test the new Xiaomi Mijia Handheld Vacuum. It is a lot cheaper but promises the highest suction power of the Xioami related hanhelds like Roidmi, Jimmy and Dreame. I would love to get your professional opinion on it!

rvdlaar says:

Wow. Pretty thorough review, thanks. Noise test is missing though.

FrederickGFX says:

Thank you for adding the hair test. This has been a problem on Dysons for years, and maybe they'll address it now that reviewers like you are highlighting the issue.

Best vacuum comparion review…

Kiril Lukiyan says:

In Europe the dyson absolute with fluffy head is available šŸ™‚ however not with golden tube as in UK. Just blue tube and blue plastic decorations.
I would throw 3 more points in favor of V11:
1) Design. Dyson looks amazing with high-tech shapes. Everybody can proudly attach in the middle of the room :). The Tineco looks cheap.
2) Dyson has better positioning of the container. In Tineco, similarly to dyson V8, sometimes the larger particles (like cat litter) may fall back out while it's attached to the stand. The "hole" is pointed down leaving possibility for the garbage to fall out of it.
3) for the same reason you can fill more dirt into container in V11. In Tineeco it will start falling out while you attach it to the wall or hold the vacuum vertically.

blakaeg says:

Dyson also do not recommend using on Boost mode regularly as it will only wear out the battery quicker than it would do so otherwise. The Powerful Boost mode is designed for spot cleabing only, for example, when vacuuming car mats in the footwell but not for vacuuming the home carpets room to room like that.

I love this channel, but I want ask a question…
Why don't you pubblish a video every day?
Thanks I Think that a video every day is a goog idea

peggyil says:

I bought a Tineco A11 Master after watching your reviews. I love it! Iā€™m very happy with my purchase!

Samuel Bomorse says:

There is one thing I'd love for you to test. I want to see if the V11 torque drive head would work on the V10. I asked Dyson, they said it uses the same electric connection so it would but couldn't tell me more.
I know the torque head wouldn't give anymore power to the V10, but I want the new head with the opening gates. This would make the soft roller head redundant for me and would be loads better.
Any chance you could test the V11 head on the V10 please?

Anthony Lauder says:

That replaceable battery is a really nice feature. I have a Dyson cordless, which is just over a year old, and already the battery life is just over half what it used to be. A google search showed this to be a common problem with the Dyson. A replaceable battery is something I really would value.

Randy C says:

How easy does the plastic parts break ? Drop them and see what cracks or breaks. Vacuums do not get easy lives. They get tossed and shoved around and fall in closets. How will the average person store these ? What if the owner has little to no extra room in the closet ? Will they fit up on shelves ? How big do the shelves have to be ? How much room is needed to store any extra attachments ? So many unanswered questions you do not determine any answers for.

Reema Al Dahneem says:

Should i go for a cordless vacuum?? I have a big house with dust coming in everyday. I vacuum and then i have to wipe the floors with water, which is a tedious process. Should i upgrade to the shark , which also polishes (corded), or should the V11 (cordless) be sufficient? I have one piece of rug and multiple sofas in the house.

LokiDaFerret says:

Tineco's suction logic seems flawed. how do you know if a deep shag carpet is dirty deep down inside unless the suction is on high?

kedelbach says:

dustbin size comparison?

NavelGUNz says:

Please do a water filter vac

Lisa Vanvalkenburgh says:

Great compare! Thanks! I'm always paying attention to versatility. Having had a cleaning business, I am weary of lack of versatility in high quality vacuums. Changing heads, attachments… on and on. Bleck! I also haven't tried Dyson's cordless, which I'd like better I think since I hate hate hate the ball on the regular vacs.
Over all I still like my Sharks… corded hand held and Apex Duo with Zero M. They have great attachments but honestly I rarely use anything but the crevasse tool with brush slide on it. I won't buy battery operated vacs I simply think it isn't worth the money. Though I may be tempted if Shark puts out a Apex Duo with Zero M and great battery life in the future. I never say never but I know vacuums and Dysons have the suction but it cuts my arms off in versatility… and price. Just not worth it. I'll take a few more passes with the Shark, save money and time. Which we all know one is the other. Smiles and blessings…

Dean Richards says:

What about filter blockage? This is a major factor on returns when consumers do not clean filters but just empty the dust canister. Which blocks quicker, if at all?

Enrico Susatyo says:

Do you recommend a vacuum this strong for someone who already has a decent robot vacuum?

zodiacfml says:

Nice but i'm still curious with the filtration system of the Tineco

are vee says:

Would love to know how quickly the Tineco's first filter gets clogged. I'll bet a lot more than the Dyson's. Also, it would be interesting to know how well they resist getting fuzz and shorter hair stuck on the brush roll. My Shark brush roll gets clogged with fuzz and needs to be cleaned constantly, but the Dyson never has that issue. Also, the Shark filter gets dirty much faster than the Dyson's filters. The 2 batteries seem like a nice option, but since I seldom do all my cleaning at once, I probably wouldn't use the second one very often. Out of curiosity, I decided to vacuum my entire 1700SF house using the my 3 year old V8. The battery does have a little degradation and I used it on high power for a couple of spots. It did conk out just before the cleaning was complete. In 3 years of using it, this is the only time it's ever run out of juice. It did not start to run slower as can often by the case when voltage sags. It maintained full power until it shut off for dead battery.

The other thing I'd be curious to know about the Tineco is how maneuverable is the brush roll? One of the huge benefits of the Dyson is it can get in so many tight space. I'd also be interested to know how each of them would do when cleaning out a car. The S12 plus comes with that flexible hose, so it might be better for tight spaces like cars.
