Why do I like these videos…

Not all the V11 are the same. ONLY the top model has auto adjust and the screen. The lower ones just have simple 3 modes and an indicator

John Tan says:

Alright so. Panasonic has come up with a 200w suction power the mc-bj890. Wondering how they stack up

NO Dyson battery will last 15 years!! How gullible are people seriously! If people use their brains, they will know that no Lithium Ion Battery will last that long.

blakaeg says:

What I've yet to see is someone review a Dyson cordless with a filter that needs washing as a dirty filter greatly affects the suction and the machine hardly has any suction. I would not say any Dyson is well built. There is a design fault on their wheels on the V Ball joint, the rubbish plastic bearings and the wheels bow outwards and cause the underside of the cleaner head to scrape the floor and the wheels eventually come off.

Great long term review of your v11! I have mine since May and really enjoy using it. My high torque head is holding up fine. My con would be the weight is very noticeable when using it as a hand held.

ecoheliguy says:

I had a drive main unit failure about 2 months in, Dyson sent a new main unit, just had to pop the battery off, canister, filter off and swap. Easy fast.

PS battery is very easy to replace, only 3 screws I believe and popped right off. Contacts were still blade and socket type.

Divert says:

I worked quite a bit in vacuum repair (not anymore) and did service Dysons. The battery is easy to change, only one screw. I can't speak for the V11 batteries, but i can assure you v6-10 batteries don't last 15 years. You're lucky if you get five out of them.

How about reviewing the LG?

Can the torque drive fine dust hard floors?

are vee says:

I'd add to the pro's that it's easy to maneuver in tight spaces and stairs treads can be cleaned without even removing the main cleaner head. As for the battery, I don't know how hard it is to remove on the V11, but it was just a couple of screws on the V7 when I removed that one.

Thanks for the honest review. I just can't believe how some people keep praising these. I have used V10 and it is my last time. Performance is just ok. Problem is that even majority of 30 years old bagged canister vacuums offer a lot more suction and airflow. And they don't have awkward heavy handles with vacuum stuck to it LOL. I wish Dyson would make light normal upright with their technology. I personally hate the forearm stress what this type vacuums give. But thanks for the video 🙂

Tim Solinski says:

Thx for the update, I think giving those is really important for the high price segment.

I purchased the v11 after reading & watching tons of reviews. Your reviews were the most useful, so thank you for that.

I use ours nearly every day. Having the power of a full upright in a portable setup means I'm vacuuming far more often and our messy house (we have two toddlers and two cats) is significantly cleaner. The amount of gunk it pulls out of our carpets is impressive / super gross.

Our previous dyson lasted about 12 years before it kicked the bucket, and I'm hoping this model has similar longevity (battery replacement aside).
