Consumer Analysis says:

10/23/2020 Review Amendment:
After further testing, we’ve determined that the V10 Absolute, with its torque drive head installed, works best on hard floors on medium power with its cleaner head gates set to the middle position. On these settings it doesn’t perform best in our crevice test (for maximum sealing and suction) but it will give better surface level pickup of a wide variety of debris (especially larger debris) and much better battery life which we feel is more important for everyday cleaning.

With this new perspective in mind, we don’t feel as strongly about the vacuum’s poor battery life. We still think it offers a poor combination of battery life and performance on carpet. But on hard floors it does give reasonably good performance with good battery life on the settings we mentioned above.

Note that for overall hard floor performance, the vacuum still performs best with a soft roller cleaner head installed running on high power. With a soft roller cleaner head installed, the V10 was tested to run for 9 minutes on high power.

Soul 95! says:

I just want to say you don't have to run it on high all the time. If you know there are areas that are dirty then yes switch it to high for a minute or two then back to medium. Medium power is still good and cleans well. He is making it sound like you will only be able to clean with the high-power setting. It is powerful and you really do not need high or medium for hard floors.

After it dies in 6 minutes on high, how long does it take to re-charge?

Dan O says:

Fantastic review. I appreciate the actual measurements versus just opinions. Thank you.

videogirl9090 says:

Buyer beware. The battery life on boost is only 4 mins and 20 seconds. A 4-minute vacuum at this price is a rip off. I timed it. And yes, I routinely clean the filter.

Lina Montalvo says:

Wait. So this expensive item dies in 6 minutes of use on high?! Wth
