I love my Dyson Outsize! The extra battery was a seller for me, but with the larger cleaning head and the power of the vacuum it is rarely used. Still when I need it, I need it. If the Outsize is to expensive, don't worry about the smaller models running out of power. If you can afford it and you are just wondering if it is worth it, the answer is YES.
Why is everyone comparing it to the v11 and not the v15 detect plus. A true comparison that will make all the difference.

Just ordered on pal! I think it's time to upgrade now Dyson have eventually cracked it with the battery supply and the bigger bin! Going to get rid of my Vax 4 Blade and Dyson corded machine as again Dyson have answered all my queries regarding sitting in the fence all this time. Is the fluffy head the same size as the normal outsize head?

Thank you Lord’s Electrical. Think Dyson should have brought out the swap out battery sooner. The over sized torque head looks great. The fluffy layer is good too. Think the V15 Detect needs more of an interpretation so it a nor,al human can understand the graphs. This Dyson is for big homes. Not for owners who like their Dyson to fester with nasties for too long.
Seems like real viable option now with the extra swappable batteries
