Hi, love the vids, TYVM!
Q: built-in dusting and crevice tool – is it also possible to use with other Dyson models? In particular with V12 slim, and V15s submarine?
I've read attachments are usually compatible if they're not motorized… and I'm not sure what category this one fits, it doesn't have a motor but may still interfere with the "main wand" somehow? It's really really hard to find any info on this. I would absolutely love to have that "built-in dusting and crevice tool" on a V12 though.
Rollers on dison are not very good. You have to force it.
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โคโคโคโคโคโคโค๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
The fine brown debri is soil not ground coffee beans
this thing costs $1000.
Can you put the Gen5 detect smaller motor head on the gen5 outsize machine?
2:29 They sell a special attachment on the site for mattresses and upholstery.. but that just looks like a worse version of the motorized screw tool, right? If you get that motorized screw tool, you do not need the mattress upholstry tool, yeah?
I don't understand why they made the fluffy optic cleaner heads the same size….why not make the outsize bigger!?
Great video. You came to the same conclusion that I did.
Right out of the box, our Dyson Gen5Absolute had a rattle in the carpet cleaning head. Customer service conceded that the part is out of stock with no date for when it will be available (this is a HUGE problem with Dyson), so the unit had to be replaced. Dyson offered to ship us an exchange as soon as UPS received the defective unit. We recorded this conversation. Nevertheless, the next day, after we delivered the defective unit to UPS, customer service informed us that this was untrue. Dyson would not do an immediate exchange, but would ship a new unit only after it received and processed the unit, which would take up to 3 weeks (while Dyson sat on our money and the warranty triggered by our initial purchase continued to run.) In short, Dyson lied. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was assured that supervisor would call me back. No call. Dyson lied again. Even before we bought the unit, we got a bad taste of Dysonโs honesty. Customer service assured us that Dyson would price-match QVCโs sale price. This, too, proved to be untrue. Yet another lie. The vacuum may be great, but beware of Dyson. False assurances and unavailable replacement parts are a REAL problem.
Did you do an unsealed suction test on the lower power mode?
Just came here to say LANMU makes a powered hose tool which makes cleaning stairs and upholstery infinitely better since you can use the brush head and screw tool
The holy grail of vacuums. I've never been more excited to unbox something as i was unboxing the dyson outsize.
I think Dyson is garbage. Over priced vaccum with their accessories overpriced as well. This is why the Shark sells more. Dyson is no longer the champion of vaccums.
This is a FANTASTIC comparative review … thank you ever so much!
At the end you mentioned youโre keeping a cordless vacuum as your primary for the first time in a long time, so before were you using a corded vacuum and if so, what made you decide that this was worth replacing a corded vacuum? I was under the impression that corded vacuums are superior in actually cleaning the house.
