A $500 vacuum should be perfect…..but UPDATE 11/2014: After using this now for 6 months, I am changing my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars. It does such a phenomenal job cleaning my carpets and floors. It is so easy and convenient to use that I rarely use our corded Dyson anymore. I love that it makes me enjoy cleaning my home. I think I am willing to overlook the issues I had with it, because it does its job great.UPDATE: After using up the battery and recharging it several times, it now holds a charge for 20+ minutes…

Unmatched I have owned way too many cordless stick vacuums. Shark. Eureka. Dirt Devil. Two types of Hoovers. Up to this point was the best was the Hoover Linx, which was in a class by itself. But even with the stick Linx I had to own a “real vacuum” (A Dyson DC28 Animal) and pull it out pretty regularly…
