Product review unboxing of the amazing Dyson DC59 Animal Digital Slim cordless vacuum cleaner and comparison suck off with my Dyson DC35. Dyson sent me this new vacuum cleaner after seeing my DC35 review where I showed how tough the Dyson design is. Seems like it’s time to cut the cord, the DC59 is truly amazing.
Dyson DC35 Digital Slim Smashing Cleaning & Maintenance Tech Review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3m0F_O_elo
On youtube I normally don’t do vacuum cleaner product reviews but I was so impressed with my Dyson DC35 I did a video showing it after a year of service in my home. The Dyson company were keen for me to have their latest cordless stick vacuum cleaner DC59. Now I have done a direct suck off cleaning comparison between the DC35 and DC59 I can see why Dyson were very eager for me to see how much their design has improved. The amount of fine dust and fluff the new DC59 pulled from the carpet that the DC35 cleaned is surely all you need to see how effective this new Dyson cleaner is. My first Dyson cleaner was the DC39 (DC37 Origin) and that vacuum machine made me very curious about the Dyson product. In my home the DC39 does the deep cleaning but I have a feeling the new DC59 cordless could be as effective. It has an advantage of a powerful and well designed spinning brush in the vacuum head.
The lesson I have learned by buying Dyson cleaners is sure they seem expensive but they are well worth the extra price. They are strong well designed cleaners which manage dust like no other vacuum cleaner on the market. James Dyson has improved his cleaners with every new generation. Surely seeing the massive difference between the DC35 and DC59 seen in this tech review is jaw dropping evidence of this.
Dyson says the DC59 sucks up as much dust as a conventional vacuum. Without the hassle of a cord. The DC59 cordless vacuum cleaner is powered by the Dyson digital motor V6. This 350W motor, 2 Tier Radial™ cyclones and a re-engineered nickel manganese cobalt battery combine to provide powerful suction. The latest motorised head with carbon fibre filaments aids in achieving high dust removal. Together these four technologies enable DC59 to remove as much dust as a mains-powered vacuum cleaner.
DC59 is powered by the Dyson digital motor V6. This 350W motor has a higher wattage than its predecessor and contributes towards the machine’s powerful suction.
2 Tier Radial™ cyclones, 15 cyclones, arranged across two tiers, work in parallel to increase airflow and capture fine dust.
The latest motorised head with carbon fibre filaments, DC59’s floor tool has been engineered to be lighter and improve pick-up. A self-tightening mechanism keeps the brush bar stable and a dust capture channel prevents dirt from escaping back to the floor, increasing pick-up. The new configuration of carbon fibre filaments and nylon bristle strips removes dust and dirt across all floors.
Run-time enhancing trigger
On when you need it, off when you don’t. Many other cordless vacuum cleaners remain switched on from the moment cleaning starts. Battery power is wasted between cleaning tasks.
Dyson Digital Slim™ vacuum cleaners have a run-time enhancing trigger. Trigger grip releases instantly, meaning battery power is only used for cleaning. It allows for a 26 minute cleaning session.
Re-engineered nickel manganese cobalt battery
Transmits 1.5 times more power than its predecessor. Customised to provide fade-free power.
Balanced for floor to ceiling cleaning, With detachable wand and tools for cleaning up top, down below and in-between.
Hygenic bin emptying, Hygienic one-touch bin empty. Just push the button to release the dirt. Accessible from either side.
Boost mode, Push button to select power. Provides 6 minutes of higher suction for more difficult tasks.
Docking station, Stores the machine for charging. Holds two additional attachments.

Thank you for showing the double click to get the dust bin off on the Animal, this is not clear in the Dyson instructions.
Just bought re-firbished DC39 and on second switch handel and can not get floor sucktion as brush will not turn off
I am amazed at what the DC59 sucks up…You see the carpet fibers pull up and it picks up dust where you didn't think there was any. The red release button doesn't seem sturdy but no problems so far. My question for you….show us how to completely clean it. I pull off the bin and bang it on the counter and lots of very fine dust continues to come out.
Never trust a review where they get free product.
so, DC35 can't really clean the carpet.
OK – got the answer answer further on in the video – not compatible physically and also different voltage 10.2v 20w. Given my poor reliability experience with DC35 not prepared to shell out for a DC59 will probably go Bosch Athlet – Which Magazine rates it on a par with DC59.
Have you tried the DC35 motorised head on the DC59. I have a hopelessly unreliable DC35 (similar story from other users). Dyson have sent me replacements for almost every part on it – but it still only works when it feels like it. DC58 is much cheaper then DC 59 – just doesn't have the extension tube and motorised head so hoping to use DC35 parts on DC58. DC35 head is 16.2v 9w – what is DC59?
A quick message for Dyson. If you send me a DC59, I will tell everyone its the greatest vacuum that has ever been seen on this planet and that Dyson are the best manufacturer with the best designs and that theres no other more impressive vacuum anywhere in the universe.
more stinky vedios
This is the best dyson I ever seen!!
