Works for the DC61 as well. Bought a DC61 Animal which did not come with a wall mount. Went to Dyson’s site to try and order one but none were listed for this model. After comparing the DC61 with a friends DC59, it was pretty clear that they had identical bodies so I ordered this one. It was delivered a day ahead of time. I installed it in about 10 minutes and as others have said, the picture here on Amazon is upside down (see picture). It also doesn’t come with screws but it does come with a pretty self explanatory…
Dyson DC58 DC59 does not support Dyson V7s or V8s!
