Now I watched this video 6 times. I am 100% in agreement regarding the 18-20 minutes actual suction time opposed to vacuuming time. With the supplied wide motor head, this puppy picks up so much I get a little embarrassed having to empty it each time. Better in the garbage than still in the carpets/rugs. Thanks for the excellent review that stands out from all the others.
I live in a two bedroom apartment. I was wondering if I should get one of the vacuums mentioned in this video for easy storage and to save space, or if I should get the upright version of this vacuum? I am more curious if the cordless vacuum would be powerful enough to keep my apartment clean or if I should just go ahead and get the other one? Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
What I would like to know is how long does the battery last (years wise) before it starts to weaken? Are new batteries available for purchase?
Sold. eBay reconditioned direct from Dyson for $209. I have the DC34 Animal and with a Chocolate Lab, Black Dane and a non-stop shedding cat, I do not know how we lived without the DC34 Animal. The small beater bar is so strong at loosening up pet hair and human hair, it leaves me shocked how fast the bin fills up. By only error was not getting the DC35 first time around so the wider beater bar and extension wand would allow for fast full room floor cleaning. Now I will delegate the DC34 to the garage and the DC35 for the house.

My ? is will this vacuum do well for my situation ( i will get extra batteries so not worried about the 20 minutes) if not can you recommend other options ? needs to be light weight as some of my apartments are 3rd floor:/

How do you clean the brush bar when it gets clogged with hair etc?
How long is the charge time when battery is flat? What's the noise level like?

You should do a review on the Dyson dc59 animal and the Dyson dc50
If I am going to spend the time vacuuming it would not be with a stick vacuum or any damn Dyson. It would be with my Amway ClearTrak or my FilterQueen. Higher quality machines.

Very good review. I bought this off ebay for $300 and I can say it is perfect for your car and a few rooms, quick clean ups also.
Just purchased at Costco, just over 300 bucks. Tested on what battery life was in it right out of the box. Awesome so far!
I'm soon gonna save up for this instead of the gtech air am was deciding between the 2 but what about cleaning it is it easy to clean I have asthma so how easy it would b to clean would b good to know x
I just order one in Amazon.com my place is 2,000 square feet, and I think 20 mins of continuing Vacuuming is good. Like she said, there is no plugging, unplugging, moving furniture etc. I am looking forward to use it on my stairs and in my car This is really exciting hehehe. Thanks for the Review.
So the DC44 was featured on Woot.com today for $232, and as I've been looking for a small cordless vacuum for my custom built tiny home (232 sqft) that would work well with my Alaskan Huskies fur I instantly started looking at reviews of it. Yours was very well done and gave me the final push to purchase it.

You are right…this is the best stick vac on the market. Just one smallish problem with the Docking Station…my kit has 3 extra heads…brush, crevice, and small motor head…but the docking station has only 2 slots…I think any man will appreciate 3 docking sites…just like his wife has. Thank you and keep up the great reviews…you might ask your hubby to comment on the lack of a third docking slot. 😉
How do u get rid of black stain from pet pee in between tiles?
Just picked this up at QVC for $359, I think it is, and it comes with six attachments AND free shipping. I'm so excited to receive it. I need a good cordless vaccum to use every night for quick clean ups in the kitchen, dining room, living room…all one big area. This will be perfect. We have tile, carpet, throw rugs.

That def looks better to manage than my Shark Navigator Never Loses Suction Upright Vacuum – NV22L. I wish the battery life on the Dyson you reviewed lasted longer though.
