I loved it until I used it It was only a matter of time before I bought a Dyson. I have heard so much advertising claiming how great this vacuum cleaner is and how it doesn’t lose suction (not that I ever had an issue with that before) and it looked so cool. As soon as it arrived I put it together and started to vacuum my carpet…Man was I so disappointed. The vacuum was not able to pick up majority of the debris on the carpet. Meh I previously had a Hoover Wind Tunnel that I got off craig’s list for $50. It worked great but it was bulky and when the belt broke on the brush roll, one of the screws was rusted to the bottom, I decided it was time for a new vacuum. I did a lot of research and read so much about the Dyson. I live in a studio apartment and thought this was convenient due to its size. and I absolutely love it. I have 4 cats I bought this vacuum to replace a ten year old DC 07. I’ve used it several times already, and I absolutely love it. I have 4 cats, a dog, and 3 young kids, and this vacuum gets my carpet as clean as it was when it was first installed. Several features have changed for the better since I had my 07. The brush bar is turned on and off by a button at the top, not a knob near the floor, like my old Dyson. And with the bar off, it does a fantastic job cleaning hardwoods.
