Awesome video! I put a lot of thought into my purchase and this video helped me tremendously. Thanks for taking the time to make this video
Thanks for the review, though it would have been more useful if there were better lighting on the scene, a dark carpet as the background and a clear cup to measure the return. Also, no comment on the ease of emptying and other routine filter maintenance?
I used to have 6 dyson's
dyson dc04 ltd dyson dc03 standard dysondc01 das dyson dc02 de stijl dyson dc07 tool kit dyson dc05 silver and lime
Nice job, always good to have a comparison for making vacuum choices.
One thing that I think would have made this more accurate: You measured the weight of the dust bins before and after a test. We also have to account for any particulates that got into the filters
Brilliant video thanks no bias u show people how the all performed none were perfect but it showed that the hoover was better on the test! Thanks you've saved people wasting hundreds of dollars euros pounds on a dyson ! I had bought their rotating hoover cost a fortune as dyson were quick new at that time was a load of rubbish hairs would clog the brush in a min I might as well have thrown hundreds down a drain!
WOOT 60,000th view!
Painful to watch just cut the chase don't talk too much please why it's taken too much! I didn't like the video because you talk too much and take too much time! We don't need to see the damn cup just I don't stand watching your videos sorry!
The Hoover doesn't have the ability to maneuver under sofa ect otherwise is a good product.
Thanks for a very helpful review. You saved me from wasting $400. It would have been nice if you had emptied the Dyson and continued for those who could put up with the inconvenience of a small container, but would like to know more about its performance with pet hair. As for me, I had already seen enough to know that it would not meet my needs and would be a step down from what I already have. Thanks.
Great testing. What's to dislike? Thank you for doing this testing.
That is a great review – helped me tons! Have you heard of the Rowenta Cordless Stick Vacuum 18V? I was looking at the Hoover Linx and the Rowenta vac but haven't seen many reviews of the Rowenta. Could you possibly do a review of that one as well?
dyson is overpriced rubbish
The best experimental comparison made ever. Can't understand those dislikes. Dislike what ?
Dyson lost i'm afraid. Sorry but I don't make the rules around here.
I bought a Dyson fan and it seems overpriced. Looks like the same applies to the DC35 here. Will get the Linx.
will you start your own channel of vacuum wars please? i really like the way you test them.
Um the Dyson lost… Did you watch the video?
@meshaw76 Check out the Miele s194 Quickstep
I've been trying to research the dyson because of it's versatility on different floor surfaces. Comparing on hardwood or other hard surface floors would have been really helpful. Any recommendations for something that can be used on both rug and hardwood (AND really works)?
@Audrey604BC Exactly my thoughts!
@Audrey604BC This is a comparison of STICK VACs. The Dyson performs poorly as a stick vac. No one wants to empty the basket of a stick vac every minute. This comparison has nothing to do with handvacs He is not saying that Dyson is a poor handvac. I have a Dyson handvac and other than the battery being a bit loose, it is a great handvac. I'm looking for a stick vac. Definitely won't buy Dyson for that. They do not have an adequate stick vac.
Girlfriend has the DC35, and I can verify that it is as bad as the video shows. I am starting to form the opinion that the Dyson brand has become nothing but overpriced underperforming products.
Going to pick up the Hoover Linx and give it a try.
Nicely done comparison of stick vacs. It would appear that if you want all the sand to be removed from your carpets, you need something more powerful than a stick vac. When you consider the price difference, although the hoover performed best, the Eureka offered a good value, wouldn't you agree?
