Dyson DC35 Digital Slim Handheld Vacuum Review

http://www.vacuumwizard.com/dyson-dc35.html The Dyson DC35 Digital Slim Cordless Handheld Bagless Vacuum Review by VacuumWizard.com. This light weight cordless vacuum can do it all. The DC35 handheld vacuum is unlike any other handheld on the market. It comes with a long reach wand and a motorized turbine head which virtually turns the Digital Slim into an upright vacuum. This is a cordless machine. It has two different modes when in use. The regular mode allows you to vacuum for 15 minutes total. The MAX power mode increases the suction significantly and makes the motorized power head with carbon fiber brushes spin faster, but it can only run for six minutes like this. When the battery runs out of power, it doesn’t fade. One moment, it will be running at full power, and then it will instantly shut off when the lithium-ion battery is out of charge. To recharge the battery give the vacuum a few minutes to cool off. Then plug it in and it will be back to fully charged in three and a half hours. Typically handhelds are used for cleaning up small messes, but this handheld can do it all. We used the motorized cleaning head and long reach wand to clean carpeting, rugs, and hard flooring. It did an excellent job cleaning up small particles like flour, and larger particles like crushed up Cheerios. Another benefit is it cleans all the debris even against the edge of the wall. Other things the DC35 Digital Slim can do include cleaning up stairs, getting way down and underneath furniture, sucking up anything in small nooks and crannies with the crevice tool. Don’t forget that this also includes a combination tool for cleaning general messes, or the upholstery brush for furniture. All the dust goes into the bagless canister. Don’t forget to clean out the washable filter once a month to keep your Dyson DC35 Digital Slim operating efficiently.

i have one of these DC35 vacuums and i am very pleased with its performance. in all aspects i have to say this is probably the best hoover i have ever bought. i have a dog and he sheds alot and the DC35 picks all of his hair up. i also have a very hard carpet to clean which my VAX MACH ZEN will not pick up dirt from (despite having great suction) but the DC35 also manages that task with ease. the DC35 is ideal for cleaning sofas, shelving, matresses and tables. definetly a great buy. 😀

This vacuum will give you an electric shock….$400 personal electroshock therapy machine. Dyson will not honnor warranty even though it was only used for 30seconds

I live you guys! thank you Lisa and Dave! You have helped me with my decision!

Watching the Hoover Linx video and coming back to this, I'd have to say that style is not the only thing this DC35 has over the Hoover Linx. It has way more capabilities and sucks better. Can you tell I am not a pro with my knowledge? ;') Either way I looked at the Hoover Linx video after reading your comment, and wanted to state that I was not impressed with the Hoover. I'd rather have this DC35.

Thank you for posting this informative video. I recently ordered one and I'm looking forward to using it. I think it will be much easier than my giant, heavy, cumbersome Electrolux!

Ultratron100 says:

Thanks for the great video. Was very helpful.

VacuumWizard says:

@DumbDuck44 We will be testing a Hoover Linx soon.

DumbDuck44 says:

While it has some neat features, the raw performance of the DC35 is pitiful. Check out the Hoover Linx if you actually want a vacuum that emphasizes cleaning performance over styling and quiet operation.

jon81uk says:

The test with the particle scanner was useless. What does another similar vacuum result in emitting? What was the control particle count before the vacuum was turned on? Please can you make sure tests like this are fully explained!

TILFilms says:

The Particle count went DOWN!!!! do it again

gazm2k5 says:

@roloboy97 Max power is only needed for ground in stuff and tough jobs. Anything in the video could be cleaned with regular power mode.

VacuumWizard says:

@abro555 If you scan through our videos, you'll see that there are some vacuums where the dust particle scanner drops to 0. In fact most Dysons and Miele vacuums have such effective filtration. But to keep it simple, you should be looking for a vacuum where the amount of dust coming out is LESS than what is currently in the air.

wei wu wei says:

As you have gone to the touble of measuring the amount of dust particles release from the exhaust it would have been more helpful if you could have commented on what this means. ALL vacume cleaners release dust, there is not one that is 100% effective at removing them all so to comment that there is still dust being released is TOTALLY USELESS. This product does not have a HEPA filter and so I was hoping to find out how close to HEPA filtration it's filter is.

roloboy97 says:

hello vacuumwizard can you please tell me at 0:20 when you vacuuming the flour is it on max mode???

mysqueeker says:

id love to have one but cannot afford them.

Vacmasterthegreat says:

I actually want to buy this, but even being a vacuum collector I don't vacuum my own house. So this would be an expensive collection addition

Daniel McCarthy says:

Excellent review. I'm off to check their website for more details on this vac. It will be interesting to see what they have to say about other vacs, including ones I've owned and have personal experience with.
