Dyson DC34 Handheld

DC34 has a dual power mode allowing 15 minutes of constant high suction or 6 minutes of MAX mode A clear bin lets you see when it needs emptying, done with a quick and hygienic press of a button Dyson DC34 Hand-Held Vacuum

DC34 has the highest suction of any other handheld. It’s powered by the Dyson digital motor, which spins three times faster than conventional motors making it the most power efficient handheld. DC34 uses a 22.2V lithium-ion battery which releases charge evenly, so performance stays strong with no drop off. An LED battery indicator lets you know when it needs recharging, and it recharges up to three times faster than others. The Dyson DC34 handheld comes with a combination accessory tool and crevice tool. The combination accessory tool has a wide debris nozzle to pick up crumbs and large particles and converts to a brush tool for dusting delicate surfaces and computer keyboards. The crevice tool is ideal for cleaning base boards, picture rails and in-between furniture.

Root Cyclone Technology for No Loss of Suction

Some vacuum cleaners rely on bags and filters to trap dust and dirt. Air is meant to flow through tiny holes, leaving dust and dirt behind. The problem is that when you use them, these tiny holes can clog up with particles of dust. This chokes the flow of air, so the vacuum cleaner loses suction. Dyson vacuum cleaners don’t rely on bags to trap dust and dirt. They use patented Root Cyclone technology, which spins the air at incredibly high speeds. The cyclones inside a Dyson vacuum cleaner generate centrifugal forces many thousands of times the force of gravity. Dust, dirt and pet hair are flung out of the airflow and straight into the bin. No bags, no loss of suction.

Dyson Digital Motor: Smaller, Lighter, More Power-Efficient

DC34 is powered by an intelligent Dyson digital motor. It’s smaller, lighter and faster than conventional motors, and because it doesn’t rely on carbon brushes, there are no carbon dust emissions. The Dyson digital motor in Dyson handhelds spins at up to 104,000 rpm- that’s five times faster than the engine of a Formula 1 race car. The Dyson digital motor is also lighter than conventional motors allowing the DC34 to weigh just 2.9 lbs. And because the motor is smaller and lighter than other motors, it has balanced weight distribution, making DC34 much easier to handle.

2-Year Parts and Labor Warranty

Your Dyson handheld is likely to take a few knocks and bashes during everyday use – but that’s nothing compared to what Dyson puts its machines through during testing and development. All Dyson handheld vacuum cleaners undergo a lengthy and rigorous testing program. That’s why all Dyson handhelds come with a free 2-year warranty – parts and labor.

Didn’t live up to the Dyson name – comparison with Black & Decker Flex fvh1200 hand held vac Dyson DC 34 handheld vs Black and Decker Flex fvh1200 handheldPurpose of purchase: Clean cat litter around cat box, cat hair on chairs, occasional spills; some dusting (ceiling fans, behind TV’s). Also, we needed cordless vac to take out to the parking lot to clean the cars.I asked Santa for the Dyson handheld as a Christmas gift because we have a Dyson canister vac that we bought back in 2006 that really impressed us with how well it worked. It remains the best vacuum…

the best suction! I think dyson like bose is a bit overhyped and pricey, but for this handheld vac it truly is one of the best i’ve ever used. I like vacuuming so have tried many different handheld types (electrolux, hoover LINX, black and decker, stickvacs, handhelds, shoulder mounts, corded vs cordless, etc…). My latest prior to this was the hoover platinum LINX cordless (BH50030) which is pricey as well and highly rated. This is my comparison.I actually own the DC34 handheld, the DC35 stick vac…

First dyson I’ve ever owned-got as a wedding gift(one of the only things I got to register for) I own an old Victorian home with all hardwood throughout. When I convinced my bride-to-be that we needed a nice little vacuum to use on all of our steps so that we didn’t have to lug around my 16 gallon shop-vac she finally caved. The day this thing was delivered to our house, I was like a kid on Christmas morning. Like most guys, I like fun new gadgets. Having a lot of battery powered tools, I made sure to read the directions carefully so that I didn’t damage the life of the…
