Dyson Cordless Vacuums Overpriced and Unreliable? Not So Fast

We’ve been recommending Dyson cordless stick vacuums for years. In our tests, they are simply far better at cleaning than any other stick vac out there. Dyson IS overpriced and unreliable! They wouldn't get this reputation otherwise!! Good as a second 'quick cleaner' not good as an only vacuum cleaner. Batteries wear out after several years and need replacing at £60. The Max/Boost mode is only for quick tasks and not designed for cleaning whole rooms like that.

why would you have a cordless vacuum when they can’t suck nowhere as strong what is expected? + the brushes are weak too and I rather not mention the limited time of use thanks to the batteries.

Scott says:

We had two Dysons. The first one lasted five years and the second one lasted two. They absolutely suck when it comes to replacement parts. They stop making replacement parts after a few years so you end up having to buy aftermarket belts that snap every few weeks.

The second vacuum's motor stopped working after the second year.

Just buy a cheaper vacuum and save yourself $400+.
