Loved it new – 2 years later, not so much UPDATE:I decided to buy a replacement wand handle. It turns out that there’s this plastic-and-foam gasket in the handle that had compressed (as foam does) over time, and that’s where the whistle was coming from. The new handle arrived today – I verified that the new gasket is much thicker than my old one and whistle is gone – and it is vacuuming better, too. $23 to fix.UPDATE:After 2 years, it is driving my nuts and I’m now shopping for a different unit. Nope – Lots of competition, too expensive This vacuum has great suction, no question, because of that alone it gets 1 star. Dyson has a ton of Roller Ball competition now and they’re not much better than the rest, just a lot more expensive.During my vacuuming I get too irritated by:1. The short power cord. No outlets in my hallways, this vacuum won’t reach down the hall or the staircase from the bedroom thanks to the too short power cord. Not convenient for a two story home.2.
