We have a Dyson and love it. Lynn and Danny

@RyanSellman1 says:

This vacuum is awesome!

@tmr8193 says:

I have 0 carpets in my house besides rugs. My Dyson Ball Animal 3 is a beast.

@Physics072 says:

The old 2007 Dyson DC17 absolute animal had more suction at 125-130" h20 vs the newer ball 3 which only has 100.

@893263007 says:

I bought two. Couldn't believe how horrible they were. Completely unusable on stairs. The detachable hose was way to elastic and stiff. The hose, once detached, is extremely difficult to put back on. It sucks well, but is impractical in every other aspect.

@ScottMadore says:

Looking for a new vacuum. Just a question for anyone that ownes a Dyson already. Does the "motor bar" stop spinning when you use the hose? I have a cheap vacuum now that keeps spinning. It seems like that is a bad design. I would assume the Dyson would not.
Thanks.

@boardertrashtv8638 says:

We have this and it is a work out to do just one room due to its weight. I also take issue with the strength of the hose recoil. It’s so strong that extending the hose pulls the vacuum over, vacuuming up stairs is going to be a pain in the butt

@LarryGarcia121 says:

My only concern is that’s gonna lose the bristles really fast

@ZeroG says:

It's a minor upgrade from Ball Animal 2. Still isn't AI

@realhousewifeoftransylvania1.0 says:

I've had all previous models and now this, and you are on point about everything. With this bew one, I feel like I got jipped with those older models! The hair tangling was a HUGE issue and it really sucked on hardwood floors! The bew one feels much lighter for some reason, I really believed it was.

@tysarahgoodman9977 says:

Very helpful. Thanks!

@davidcharron5020 says:

My Dyson ball Animal Head falls off often (very annoying) how can I make it stay on. Other than that it's awesome.

@Malexah_mor says:

It’s impossible to vacuum under my bed ☹️

@donsteiner1157 says:

I just got one. It is almost impossible to push the vacuum over the carpet. Called Dyson and they said it’s not going to work with all carpets. Crazy

@MarioM-q6u says:

Can someone please help me, i recently bought this model and i have carpet and hard wood floors but I'm when cleanint hard wood floor the head attachment is too low to pick up anything, i was wondering if theres a attachment high enough from the floor to pick things up

@Marlene-z5y says:

I like this vacuum got it as a gift
My only problem is it has No lights to see what you are vacuuming 😩
And the hose it pulls the whole vacuum but other than that it’s good love the power

@beagalulu2 says:

I bought one this morning and returned it a few hours later. What a piece of junk! I got as far as assembling it. Didn't even bother turning it on. Tossed it in the van and back it went. The plastic handle and wand was so thin it flexed. The vacuum refused to stay standing up. And one bump while carrying down the stairs, the roller head fell right off. Plus the canister was TINY. My Lab sheds more hair in 10 minutes than what it could hold.

@sixtoseven7563 says:

While I agree this vacuum is tops in picking up dog hair ( we have 2 ) it really annoys me that every cleaning must be accompanied by taking the machine apart and cleaning it. Vacuuming is the only activity that requires you to spend a half hour doing maintenance on the tool used. I like this vac although the hose could stretch longer. I don't mind vacuuming it's the machine's constant need for unclogging… that drives me nuts.

@markanthony9417 says:

The Worst vacuum. Heavy and not user friendly.

@kristinzeitlhofer6182 says:

Fantastic video! Any test run on stairs? It can be tricky to find vacuums that work conveniently on stairs

@maxinegeorge6359 says:

Right out of the box, our Dyson Gen5Absolute had a significant rattle coming from the carpet cleaning head. Customer service conceded that the part is out of stock with no date for when it will be available (this is a HUGE problem with Dyson), so the unit had to be replaced. Dyson offered to ship us an exchange as soon as UPS received the defective unit. We recorded this conversation. Nevertheless, the next day, after we delivered the defective unit to UPS, customer service informed us that this was untrue. Dyson would not do an immediate exchange, but would ship a new unit only after it received and processed the unit, which would take up to 3 weeks (while Dyson sat on our money and the warranty triggered by our initial purchase continued to run.) In short, Dyson lied. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was assured that supervisor would call me back. No call. Dyson lied again. Even before we bought the unit, we got a bad taste of Dyson’s honesty. Customer service assured us that Dyson would price-match QVC’s sale price. This, too, proved to be untrue. Yet another lie. The vacuum may be great, but beware of Dyson. False assurances and unavailable replacement parts are a REAL problem.

@mpbailey18 says:

Just got my new Animal 3 and while the suction is great…pushing it over my lower pile carpet is a pain…to the point it hurts my back. I just can't believe pushing this thing can be so difficult. Yes, the "gates" are open (which was the default position). Using the wand is a nuisance and pulling out the hose is also an effort. VERY disappointed.

@alanosborne1947 says:

At the 3:42 mark you're talking about "virtually no hair tangles as someone is turning the beater bar. All of a sudden right there in the screen is tangled hair then it disappears,the magic of film editing!! I call BULL💩💩 you're BUSTED!!
