It`s like to built the supercar without brakes.
It goes 0-60 in 2 sek and 300mph but only ones 🙂
Yeah we have the fastest car in the world.

@GC-hm3yu says:

They should make it with LIDAR pared with the 360, and also a new robot mop separate robot.

I have the S8 Max V vacuum and mop, and it doesn't do a good job because the silicone brushes and the air tunnel get cemented over with wet dust.

To clean up dust you need a dry BRUSH that agitates the dust and all the hairs get into small crevices so the suction can get all the dust.
The mop just wets everything and clogs things, therefore a separate mop robot that just mops is the best combo.
I just don't understand why people are buying these vacuum mop combos. are there are a ton of models.

@iPedro says:

A decade ago, I was at the 360 Eye debut. The engineers proudly demonstrated their beautiful round robot, too high to fit under furniture and too round to fit into corners.

In the hands on, I picked it up and put it in a corner to show the engineer that it wouldn’t clean corners. I suggested a D shape. He said they wanted to make it beautiful. Well, I guess they rethought that and he was right after all, this new robot is butt ugly. But again, Dyson is about appearances to the detriment of efficacy. They left much to be desired in the software front, let alone keeping up with modern expectations of auto empty capabilities.

Maybe next decade. I’ll stick with Roomba for now.

Is this a review post firmware update?

@wandameadows5736 says:

Dyson prices are a rip off

@vakama94 says:

Sorry if this has been commented before but, will you be revisiting this robot vacuum? I've seen in more than a few places that the things that sounded software related (such as navigation) have supposedly improved more than before after a few updates and it would be interesting to see if that is true and how much it has changed things.

@HaysClark says:

As a 25+ year loyal Dyson customer, I'd have to say that the original Dyson 360 was the most disappointing products I've ever purchased from the company. I still have Dyson hand vacuums that are over 20 years old that still work perfectly after ordering a OEM or aftermarket replacement battery and a little TLC; however, the Dyson 360 is pretty much completely unserviceable and became cyber-trash after just 3 years.

@Natak222 says:

I don’t want a subpar 2-in-1 mop feature anywhere near my robot, as this will never come close to a motorized mop and I don’t like the bulky, often ugly aesthetics of a self emptying base l.. Think of this more as a an art/statement piece that happens to be an above average robot vacuum

@club2772 says:

4:48 lol instead of making a map it makes a goofy dinosaur drawing.

@hubbardfan says:

Sounds like its the best vacuum at being a vacuum… Just needs more software and auto emptying and better battery and improved mapping function

@ImPipkinrick says:

This look like it would've been a great prop in a Back to the Future movie.

@jasonden1005 says:

Maybe a test of putting powder into carpet and see how much fine powder a machine could suck out to measure the fine dust extraction efficiency.

@jasonden1005 says:

I rent, and I don’t know how old is the carpet.
Before I bought it, I used a v10 with carpet head, and patiently move 1 cm per second through the room — and havest fine dust that maybe could fit a 200ml can from 35 sqm carpet. And if I have the time to do it again, the volume of dust wasn’t significant lower.
considering recharging time, it took days to finish one room.
So I bought it — the most promising one by looking the structure.
I think it could match 20 % of result compare to me manually deep clean. I think it’s amazing because that deep clean takes an hour to finish 2 sqm.
I scheduled it 3 times a day.
The first week, every day, it sucks out some tiny things that I’m sure belong to previous tenants that even my manual deep clean couldn’t fully clean out — it was actually enjoyable to clean the bin as I see my place getting cleaner every day.
Now after 2 month, we have so much more confidence on the carpet than before.

Well worth the money as its strength happens to be what I need most.

@Mcm4 says:

Everyone’s commenting that this is a bad vacuum at its price point and that it’s old and dated, but nobody’s providing the better options. I have two huskies and I’m trying to find a robot vacuum that can help with pet hair on hard surfaces but every single one of these videos that I come to the video says that it’s good but the comments say that it’s bad and nobody’s actually saying what is good. so I can’t tell if the comments are just from some other source that’s steer you away from this vacuum or not.

@dragoonsunite says:

The value proposition is simple for me, the only vacuum you recommended for hair when I took your recommendation on my last pass through really was pretty horrible at exactly that… The vacuum I bought before that without doing user reviews or checking online was better purely by chance (Avoid Shark products as far as I'm concerned regardless of reccomndations from consumer product reviewers, some weird bias towards meaningless features when the products primary function is weak it seems to me). This just actually did the job better than any others, my carpets are actually clean, which is kind of the point, a low review when it does the primary function better than anything else on the market seems off to me. The idea that I can add an amazing feature package to a product that's designed to vacuum when it sucks at vacuuming and it somehow gets a better recommendations is weird to me.

@mosey4650 says:

saw another video that said firmware update significantly improved this with regards to object avoidance, mapping, etc etc. Can you revisit? I feel like a real vacuum that can clean deeply is a very valid product segment regardless of not having a mop. No bags too, which is great.

@PurushNahiMahaPurush says:

The price is really laughable especially since for the same price I can get the Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot AI which is top of the line robot vacuum. Dyson needs a lot of catching up to do in this category.

@yoooei5792 says:

Dyson gotta have the ugliest design on all of their products, their design is like if we live in year 3000, doesn't fit in any household interior

@Shmikes says:

399 dollar product for sure

@Pandemonium088 says:

Dyson just needs to let Xiaomi make their vacuums and slap a Dyson branding. Issue resolved. 😅

@xandercage193 says:

Scrap! Dyson is fooling his customers! The device can be less than a 400€ irobot vacuum robot
