Dyson DC59 Animal Cordless Vacuum Review: http://www.smartreview.com/dyson-dc59-animal-cordless-digital-slim-vacuum-cleaner
SmartReview.com met with Suzy Traynor, Dyson’s spokesperson to get a demonstration of Dyson’s Best 2014 cordless vacuum , the DC59 Animal. The DC59 is actually two vacuums in one. It can be an upright vacuum, and a handheld vacuum. Accessories easily attach and detach. This model is also compatible with most Dyson accessories, so you can use an accessory from another Dyson corded vacuum you may own, such as the DC41 or DC65.
In our demonstration, The DC59 easily picked pet hair and chalk dust from carpets, and coffee grounds, flour, and cereal bits from hard floors. This model has a lifetime filter, easily washable, and as Dyson claims it does not clog, as Dyson does not rely on the filter to clean, but relies on its patented Radial Root Cyclone technology which separates dirt before it reaches the filter. As a handheld the vacuum with its included mini motorized tool can clean stairs, pet hair, upholstery, and car mats and interiors.
The Dyson DC59 Animal has 50% more power than the DC44 in MAX mode. The DC59 has the powerful V6 digital motor. It also has a bin that is 30% larger than the DC44. Cleaning runtime is 30% longer than the DC44 cordless (now at 26 minutes).
If you are looking for a great cordless that has the power of an upright, but weighs less than 5 lbs., then the DC59 Animal should be on your shortlist. It has received the “Best of 2014 Award” from SmartReview.com

Over the years I have owned several cordless vacuums and they have all been, well, RUBBISH really. I recently bought a DC59 and it is AMAZING. Very light, extremely powerful, hugely versatile and with excellent battery life too. Despite the eye-wateringly expensive price, this piece of kit is the best out there and beats most plug-in uprights I have used. Get one, you will not be disappointed.
This was a really interesting demonstration to watch. However, I am interested in your latest cordless vacuum, the Dyson DC61. Is it possible to make a video for that particular model?
I have a seven year old son who is constantly fixated with this device.
Unfortunately I can't afford one.
We even have to take trips to our local supermarket (where there is one on display) just so we can satisfy his fix.
He watches this video continually.
When I do try to take it off him
It's like I'm dyson with death.
Just purchased this machine, and it does everything it advertises. I love it! Very lightweight, very powerful, and maneuverable, I use it on my wood floors and carpeted rooms without pause. I may have to recharge it (I have the charging station) if I use it on several rooms. However, that is not a problem. I love it's versatility, and would not hesitate to strongly recommend it to anyone who cleans a house.
Like to Win This!!
Thanks for the reminder, I appreciate it. I love this machine. It is fabulous, best I've ever had, beats many many other brands I've owned.
I've had one of these for almost a year now, can't fault it at all. My old upright hoover never comes out now!
How long is the battery rated for? What happens when the battery dies? How can it be replaced?
I had the root 6 cyclone, HORRIBLE!!! and Dyson were not very good about their problems, However, this d59( is absolutely amazing, Have had it for 6 months and a excellent product. The only drawback is the dust that seems to be where you can not clean it.
I have the dc35 and i love it but this dc59 looks like the terminator of cordless uprights
You are more likely to clean up things because it's so easy to use.
