My Z10 had a laser exactly like the one on the Dyson. I wonder if they changed it or whether there's different versions for global and china, since I got mine from China directly.
The Z10 does have a design flaw in that the rubber seal of the station comes out easily which basically turns the thing into just a charging station. Mine ended up coming out 2 weeks in so I had to return it. Still trying to decide if I should get the Z20 station or a Dyson instead
