Which is better dewelt vs Milwaukee vacuum?

Arfin K says:

A better comparison test between corded and cordless would have been the water test, as it would be easier to prove, but excellent review. You have earned a subscriber. Btw I have the Milwaukee M18 Vacuum which i love, it would be cool if you did a Milwaukee vs Dewalt! haha Thanks again for the great review.

J-dog, this might be the gateway tool that gets me into the 20V line.

For the extra 20 bucks the combo seems like the way to go. Nice review Javier

I use my Milwaukee 18v vacuum all the time.  I wish it had the optional power cord like the DeWalt.  Great review.

I love this thing. Im a service tech and this is the prefect vacuum for my job. works great for its size.

Love2boat92 says:

The problem I have with some vacuums that can do wet or dry is after you suck up something wet the filter is drenched.

kobelcofan says:

These little vacs are great, I had an older shop vac brand 1 gallon vac, I loved it, but it didn't have a blower, and the filter got clogged easily. I have a 5 gallon one now and a 16 gallon. The little vacs are cool because when the tank fills up you can just dump them in the trash, but when you have to empty a 16 gallon full of debris, it's a real chore. A battery operated unit is genius, especially for exterior work.

TheBearuk1 says:

great review Javier, I have a Rigid shop vac at the moment that I use for all sorts but its main use at the minute is detailing my car. This would be a much more compact and easier machine to drag out every other day for that purpose, I saw that you used it for the same thing, would you say its powerful enough to get the dirt out of the pile without going over the same spot several times? I am obsessive with keeping my car clean so it never gets really dirty but I like the power of the rigid, I know you are never going to get that kind of power from a cordless compact unit like this but in your opinion would it replace the rigid for keeping my car clean?

I like that side side by side shot corded vs cordless! Nice review man

DarkRaptor99 says:

I keep on waiting for Milwaukee to release an updated M18 model hopefully brusheless. I will admit this time the Dewalt vac is much better than the current Milwaukee offering that unit is pretty old and is battery only.

Patrick Ellis says:

Great review!  I've been using this for about 6 months and rarely pull out my bigger, bulkier ShopVac now as the DeWalt has been up to the task for most of my cleanups.  I particularly love the corded and cordless options… nice touch!  Too bad it couldn't charge a battery… that would be grand!
