Great for picking up pet hair I replaced my old bagged vacuum for this one. I only have 1 room with carpet, the rest are hardwood floors. This vacuum comes with 2 separate spinning brushes; the stiffer one works best on carpet, the softer one works best on hard floors and low pile carpet.
