This arrived in a Vacmaster orson branded lift top box with everything separately packed with plastic bags and card protecting the items from scratching or moving about in the box. Inside you get the main vacuum, the extended section, brush section, assortment of smaller attachments, battery and battery charging base along with a spare filter and adequately detailed multilingual manual.
First impressions: everything seems to be high quality and well finished, the main vacuum handset is quite heavy with the battery in place which is more of an observation than criticism as most of the weight is determined by the weight and power of the battery, the attachments take very little effort to remove and replace and any slight stiffness I found when first assembling it has gone now they have been removed and replaced a few times, I like it comes with a spare/replacement filter something you don’t always get, the manual has an a numbered diagram to make it easy to identify all parts and details everything clearly.
After giving the battery a full charge on the dock I slotted it onto the vacuum and gave it a good test out, I found the suction impressive and it picked up very well on both carpet and wooden flooring, the attachments are good for getting into small areas and round skirting, I found the extension to the main tube really handy for extending into hard to reach areas along with extending if you are taller so you are not stooping over using it. Removing the main tube and putting the brush on the vacuum to make a hand held cleaner worked really well and made it easy for in my case to get right in behind my computer and desk with a good solid pickup.
The vacuum has LED lights on the front of the brush which illuminate dark areas such as under the sofa which In my opinion are quite useful, the emptying system is a simple push button to release and empty, then you can carry on, the battery has a 40 minute run time on standard speed but that does reduce quite considerable when on turbo mode to 12 minutes although the suction on the turbo mode is very strong. I fitted the holder to the wall and it sits quite neatly although it would have been nice to have the ability to charge while on the wall mount rather than having to remove the battery and charge it in the dock.
Overall a good all round hand held vacuum, powerful enough for a quick turbo clean up along with giving you 40 minutes of runtime before needing charging on standard mode round the house, I like the LED lights on the front of the brush, the emptying system is quick and easy, the main tube extension is a useful design feature, the attachments are handy along with being easy to remove and replace, the only thing I would have liked to have seen was the ability to charge on the wall mount and not having to remove the battery for charging, apart from that I thought it great.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask them in the comments and I will do my best to answer.
