I'm about to buy the cordless Dyson DC74 in Hong Kong for about US$850.  I don't believe this model is available in the US.  However if it is, I would love to know if it's much less in cost.

krantz55 says:

I would rather keep my cord and buy a new Amway ClearTrak Workhorse because it's gonna kill that Dyson when cleaning carpets and it's more flexible in my eyes.

lov2aclr8 says:

58 and 59 is the same vac. Same motor, same body same battery.

Dan Nguyen says:

My grandma has that she got it for sale :)

Benjamin Kennedy says:

You have to appreciate the technology, despite the outrageous price.

FutureIndieProductions says:

500 dollar's eh? That's okay, I'll just save money and get a cheaper vacuum AND buy new carpet

Just buy a rainbow by Rexair.
You will never need another.

prototypeglory says:

For that price I would expect for it to come with a phallic attachment

jjlwis says:

it better suck the chrome off a trailer hitch!

Ice21 says:

For that price it should turn any colored carpet pure white

MinkusTheCat says:

I'm watching a review for a portable vacume. This is my life.

taylor1038 says:

Dyson is like the Apple of vacuums.

Angel King says:

Overprice shitty…

akulabite says:

For 500 I can buy new CARPET.

Jello Shot says:

MY DC08 Origin died after 8 years 🙁 time for DC54 Animal Pro to shine :)

Chris Cunningham says:

$500 for a vacuum… it best make my carpets brand new!

Tim Joseph says:

Might as well buy a Shark Rocket instead of this, since the Shark Rocket is corded and has an electronic motorized small and large head to pick up dirt better than Dyson's air turbine attachments.

thehouserocker says:

I worked at their call center not long ago, all their handhelds have been riddled with so many problems that most of the time trying to troubleshoot with customers was a waste of time, usually a replacement was sent out in which in due time would also fail and of course the customer would call again and we'd do the troubleshooting dance all over again and of course (again) send out a new unit, never had many calls on models DC14 and prior, models after that are garbage, and don't get me started on the DC28!

LordGunful says:

Are you serious? Another expensive vacuum from Dyson? Seriously, do we actually need to price a small cordless vac for 500? It just doesn't make sense! Yet, the material used does not match up to the price point.

ruchb1 says:

Dyson is like the Monster Cable of Vacuum's Overpriced for Fancy shit

SwirlyfuzzBall7 says:

we have one of them, really good

Jonny Ortiz says:

26 minutes…..you've gotta be fuckin kidding me -_-

Andy Cho says:

Mounted the charging dock upside down… fail…
I have the older gen. model and I had to think for a while to justify that price, though I ended up buying it at costco for about $100 less than retail.
But wait, $500? Better suction power(I would assume it's not dramatically much more than the previous gen.) and 6 extra minutes of operation time? No thank you.

LeisureReader says:

There's a typo in the title of the video inside the video, it says "Oontz CurveDyson…"
