Did not last a week. I received the Bissel SpotBot, and immediately used it with the included cleaning soap and boost to tackle a pet stain located half-way down my stairs. The device lifted the stain that I have tried to get out with a hand-held hose attached to a larger carpet shampooer I have. After that success, I attacked about 5 more spots. It’s not perfect, but it beats blotting away with a cloth, and a can of spot shot. For the most part I’m satisfied with the Pet Spot Bot, it does a pretty good job on stains when I use the automatic Deep clean setting. Unfortunately for me not all stains are the right shape to fit entirely into the area covered by that setting. Using the hose with the brush is far less efficient, and less effective. I usually have to clean stains a few times to completely remove them that way. It’s hard to tell when the carpe is wet, if the stain is gone. I wish the automatic setting did…
