This vac does great on hard floor surfaces This vac does great on hard floor surfaces, great pick up with the carpet brush on and it does NOT leave scratches or marks. It’s pick up debri on carpets, it doesn’t have that deep vacuumed look on carpets, but really it isn’t meant for that in my opinion. Bad suction even for small space We have a 1 bedroom apartment with hardwood floors and no pets. We thought this vac would be good enough to keep our place clean. We were wrong! It’s super frustrating when you vacuum a space, just to realize that the vac didn’t pick up crumbs you just ran the vacuum over! Takes several run-throughs to pick up visible dirt.
