Actually Works I’ve had quite a few handheld vacs over the years, for their ease and convenience on immediate small pickup jobs or in tight spaces. I especially like to use handhelds on the staircase, where disassembling and yanking on my primary large vac’s hose is a real pain. Super vac for hardwoods! First off – I’m a vacuum cleaner snob. Own a large expensive Dyson. It’s heavy and stays upstairs with the wall to wall carpet. I was tired of lugging it downstairs to vacuum all the hardwood floors and tile in laundry room. We have four small dogs and a huge yard – dirt just finds a way in to the lower floors of the house.
