It's so wierd seeing that with a Bissell logo on! Their high maintenance, that brushroll needs to come out monthly if you have hair, it binds up behind the brushroll end caps and packs it out until it starts melting things, and jams the release mech! Filter clogs quickly too. But it is good, I did a terrible test against the v11 and tineco and it won hands down! I bought my mum a £15 Mk1 air ram and she loves it. I've trained her to vac the filters off weekly with her main vac and that's what's going to keep it going. They make very good whip round vacs, they do clean surprisingly deeply, but their 100w motor is only to help the dirt into the bin, the brushroll does all the work

Cassandra Howard says:

I highly recommend this product. I own it and it is the best vacuum I have ever had. I don't even use my corded one any more. It is just awesome! Consumer Reports gave it a very good review. They said it is just as good as the cordless ones that are like $700. I am not willing to spend that much on a vacuum, nor really able to (LOL). I was barely willing to spend the $250 on this one, but I'm glad that I did. I don't have one complaint.
Many people have had an issue with the handle. Mine is okay so far. I heard that Bissell would replace them, but I got an extended warranty just in case of any other issue. I would recommend just not using the top handle to carry it. I try to use the lower handle only when lifting it in any way.
I also wanted to mention that most cordless vacuums nowadays seem to have the motor and other heavy stuff on the top of the vacuum. I have never had a vacuum like that and didn't really think that I would like it. I also have arthritis and other issues with my hands so the fact that the weight on the Bissell was concentrated on the bottom was a huge selling point for me.
Suction is great. Stays charged for a good amount of time. Easy to clean out. Swivel action is nice. Gets down pretty low to get under furniture as well. The light is great!
I just use my Dustbuster to clean the filter, just FYI. I haven't washed it yet as Bissell recommends, but I will probably do that soon. Although, I must say, the vacuuming of the filter seems to work pretty good.
I am seriously not being paid for this review at all. I just REALLY love this vacuum!

Thom Westergren says:

This is such a smart, beautiful vacuum. The integration of the collection canister into the base, the way it empties, the low center of gravity, it's all just really nice (yes, I have one).

There's another, really unusual vacuum that I'd love to see you review. It's the Quantum X Upright. It uses water to filter the dirt, which I think is brilliant (I hate bagless vacuums, because there's always a filter to replace or clean, and emptying them turns cleaning in to a dirty business — how ironic is that?)

Please, do a review of the Quantum X Upright, there are only one or two so far, besides the ones from the TV shopping channels. The vacuum buying public needs to see it put into the objective spotlight.

WLMS says:

Are they considering this commercial? That thing wouldn’t last a week in a commercial setting…

WJCTechyman says:

Interesting stuff. The other machines in the Bissell booth, besides the big green deep cleaner, how are they in serviceability compared to Bissell's big box store units?

Hank's Garage says:

Those that own these seem to like them. Not bad quality it looks like either

Rachel says:

I know this is a very rare machine and odd request but could you possibly do a video on a Hoover Windtunnel V2. Was very curious of your opinions on one.

TC says:

The cleaner will actually go flat if you angle the handle in the way you demonstrated it going around corners. Just keep on going down until you reach the ground.

ca31 says:

Did g-tech ever make a vacuum like this?

Nick O says:

I love my airram. I have way more vacuums than I like to admit but this is the vacuum I always bring out for quick pickups on carpet. The battery also lasts much longer than most cordless vacs. It really is worth the price in my opinion.

Rick Hoover says:

Now im not a big fan of bissells. Matter a fact I despised bissell but I'm digging the Airram. Looks really nice and seem to pick up decently for a cordless stick vac. I don't mind having one for a bissell.

David Lei says:

I wanted to get one a while back but decided to hold off because of the issues with the handle. Now I'm just waiting for lindhaus to drop their cordless vacuum.
