Getting a Handle on its Problem We have a Newfoundland dog, so rounding up dust varmints is a constant effort. We had an older version of this, works a treat. Only, son lost a chunk of the handle. So we got this one. Still works a treat — but that handle design. If you’re getting it for the ability of taking the handle apart, I’d advise against it, because to keep body and arm together we resorted to duct tape. Easy and Fast Quicker Picker-Upper. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the Bissell on dog hair, cat hair and kitty litter. It picks it all up! No longer do I have to drag out the 12.5 amp Kenmore when the kids drop crumbs on the floor. We have low pile carpet and linoleum and the Bissell works great on both.
