I have to point out one thing about the large debris pick up test, the debris for the Bissell was lined up inline with that opened in the head while the Kenmore had the debris spread out more evenly. Had they both been spread out the same I feel like the Bissell would've struggled too since it only has one opening.
the bissell vacuum was my husbands and i first vacuum he had in our first apartment. one of my favorites until the hose broke.

@VacuumWars. Re: Kenmore DS1030. What's the charger's output voltage/current rating? And, is that a standard 5.5×2.1 barrel plug?
It is not impossible for Dyson to come up with this style and still fit under furniture. The Bissel feels like a cheap product with a single, low power mode. The Kenmore provides you more battery life or more power at the same price.
@VacuumWars. Did I miss it, or did you mention HEPA filtration ability? The Kenmore listing mentions that it has HEPA filter.

IS EXCELLENT Because lightweight, easy to maneuver, easy to assemble and disassemble, easy to dock and charge, easy to empty and clean filter. Slightly more expensive. Worth it – this is the same model I owned previously which worked well for over 5 years. Was lost during moving and I’m happy to own it again.

I'm an almost 70-year-old man, and a small one at that, and don't find the Dyson stick vac at all tiring to use.

Great review – appreciate the lightweight, budget test. I had the bissell reviewed here for a couple years and found it to be decent. I then went to a Dyson and the weight difference and awkward handle were a huge negative for me so I sold it. I now have the Dyson Omni glide and it feels like the best of both worlds.
Can you do a review on the wise versa S9 without the clean base cause I’m interested of which one I should get interested in the S9 without the clean base
