The v12 detect was a big fail in my oppinion. The dust bin is too small to do aything and the hepa filter gets cogged very fast. While the hepa filter is something that may apply to you or not, the dust bin is very small.
I've had a V11 for four years and it's still going strong. My previous V8 and V6 only gave me about 2 – 3 years of life each. I wish the Gen5 series would allow you to pick the size floorhead you need. I'm thinking of getting the Outsize for the larger floor head because I have quite a big house. However, I'd prefer the smaller bin size because I don't mind stopping mid-cleaning to dump the bin. I just want the wider floor head.
Hello, since you have all the dyson machines, could you please test/confirm if the detect soft roller head with laser works on a v8 ?

Gen 2 robot vaccum from dyson when? For real though, the battery and motor expertise from Dyson could be useful for a new generation of robot vaccums.

I've owned 3 of these type of vacuums for daily use, and they all overheat so quickly. They have issues, .. it's great when it works, it's terrible when you need to do a whole apartment. I've wasted so much money.

Tineco is almost as good as a Dyson at a fraction of the price
