Does it have long nose attachment to clean floors while standing up? Anyone bought tube attachment to use vacuum while standing up.

@Ritalie says:

The form factor of this Dewalt vacuum is the best on the market. Hercules by Harbor Freight has a similar quality and similar size vacuum that is basically the same. There is a major downside to this form factor, and that is: it has no cyclone centrifugal dust separation, due to it not being cylindrical. So the Milwaukee cordless M18 canister vacuum, it has a somewhat unusual form factor that is unwieldy. But the M18 Milwaukee round canister vacuum (not the square one) has a high speed cyclone technology that keeps the dust away from the filter, and you can keep vacuuming even when the filter compartment is completely full, because it keeps swirling the dust towards the outside edges–away from the filter. The difference between cyclone technology (centrifugal dust separation) is you get 10 times more filter life, provided that you empty the canister regularly. The dust cannot go towards the filter when the dust is swirling in a circle. ALL vacuums in the year 2023, should be a round, "centrifugal" vacuum. Look up videos of homemade plastic bucket dust separators to understand just how important it is to swirl the dust.

Just to help all:

This surprised me. I upgraded all of my tool batteries to 5Ah Powerstacks. I can't say why, but I can say with certainty that the Powerstack does NOT power this tool.

It was no big deal,. I just fished one of my replaced 5 XRs out of the trash, and kept it to power the vac. But you should be aware of it as a part of your buying decision.

@jambojambo313 says:

I wouldn't say it's small but certainly a really useful tool considering you can use the default DeWalt batteries – great blokey tool.

@mikecausey5287 says:

Good overview, would have been perfect if you showed the “wet” feature of the vacuum.
Thanks !

Might have sold me on thus, thanks 💪💪

I have both this little one and the full size Dewalt vac and I find myself using the little one more often. Its great for small jobs and cleans carpet like no tomorrow.

@christopherperez6126 says:

Thank you for showing me this thing existed!

@maciekurbanski says:

I'm Dewalt guy, have more than 30 Dewalt tools (and intend to buy more). This one however is a bust. Loud motor, low pressure, unreliable switch. Died after a half year of light use.
Improvements I'd like to see: EC motor, cyclonic separator, 2-suction levels, dust-proof switch.
