I started to watch your videos around 5 years ago. I have 2 Roomba s9+. One stopped working because of roaches about 2 years ago and the other one stopped a year after I couldn't find the reason why.
Mine is about 4 years old now. I watched way back when you were reviewing this. Mine has seemed to become 'dumber' over the years to the point where it has become annoying but still usable. Apparently, iRobot discontinued the S9 recently, along with replacement parts. Good thing there's an aftermarket for parts. I'm changing rollers a couple times a year but that's probably from lack of maintenance.
I have been around with you channel for a long time. I still run a J7+ every day without issues. Bought it when it came out and it still does a great job.
I bought one 1.5 years ago and think it’s great. It’s the only older series Roomba that actually has good suction. If you still have a Shark, I’d recommend comparing it to the S9.
… Also, yes, I’m an OG viewer, meaning I’ve also seen your defective S9 that you sent back.
The sad thing is that iRobot is likely not going to survive any longer… which means the s9+ and every other iRobot Roomba will be obsolete in a year or two… then maybe other companies will have a bin sensor!!! Will you get the new Saros robots?
I watched all your reviews of this vacuum from years ago. I bought one second hand a month ago for a deal I couldn’t pass up. Had to go back and rewatch all of your videos again (felt very nostalgic). Thanks again for all the reviews that you have made and are making. I miss your old test room videos and love how long form and in depth they are!

1:55 other companies can’t copy it because iRobot has a patent for it

It’ll definitely last more than 5 years, I’ve got roombas that are over 20 years old and still work amazing!
I want to see the S9 Plus
