It's apparent that the soft roller doesn't actually touch the floor, which kind of makes me wonder what the point is. The head is longer than it is wide so you can't swing it around tight spaces, and it doesn't appear to have enough suction to pick up loose flour off of hardwood, and there's no rear seal to keep the brushes from flinging rubble out behind it. It's all the downsides of the DuoClean with none of the features. What does it do well?

Haist., another biased review🤦‍♂️

There are a lot of salty Dyson fanboys in this comment section 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It's quite clever that the Ryobi battery is compatible with their tools. Makes it a good choice for those of us that already own Ryobi tools.

Random Acts of Video says:

If you are using the Dyson on Boost all the time then you just don't understand how cleaning works. They Dyson comes with way more accessories.

Danny Seals says:

It's Rye like the bread, Ryobi also as in Dyson

I have a V10, however I have never found the stick vacuums to be that effective as your standard vacuums. Maybe the newer v12 and v15 are more effective than the older model. The Ryobi vacuum is interesting especially for onsite cleanup when you are doing construction work away from home and just need to clean up your mess. I also have One+, but with the new mower I also have v40 batteries and will be moving all lawn equipment over to v40 while keeping One+ as power tools. I'm not certain if I really want to consider the vacuum or not. Just not a real need for it.

Deans n LiPo says:

What I want to know is how Ryobi got the dual brush roll design. Shark made a patent on this feature. Did they get permission from shark or am I missing something? I think on your big mess test some pieces made the floor head prop up and caused it to miss the fine dust. Also why would you always want max power? Most of the time you can do with regular power. Plus it helps with battery longevity in the long run. It’s like keeping a manual car at the highest RPM for maximum power, but you are just wasting gas at the stop light or cruising down city streets.

Mark Koines says:

Good review. Because I have about 15 other 18V Ryobi tools. Its a no brainer for me. This vacuum will be replacing our old model dyson which doesn't have a replaceable battery. Can only do one room before it needs charging. What is the model number of the Ryobi vacuum you reviewed?

I love how he ran out of features for the Dyson so he wrote charger
