Correct filters for my older Shark I have a several-year-old Shark SV780SP-N14, 18 volt, purple. I’ve been using the same filter for years, simply dumping out the dust after every few uses. Once every few months I would wash the filter with a garden hose and allow it to dry overnight. Finally after several years of this routine, the filter material tore.
