The dyson gets high marks for suction but I've read dozens and dozens of reviews that say that it is constantly getting hair tangled in the filter which makes it unusable if you don't stop and untangle it right then.
For a pet household, that's a no.
And, honestly, at that price point, that thing ought to be perfect…. PERFECT… in every way!!

Speaking from experience if you buy a Tineco, be prepared to use the filter cleaner attachment pretty much every time the bin fills and quite a bit of suction loss in the process. I'll never buy another one.

I have had my tineco a11 hero for 4.5 years its a little different than this version and only came with one battery. I bought an extra about a year later. The original battery is just now starting to have noticeably reduced run time. Its been a workhorse! I rarely need to use it on high.They do sell it in a kit with 2 batteries and a fluffy hard floor attachment + some other interesting attachments which puts it more on par with the Dyson line. The dyson is awkwardly large and I prefer removable batteries so I went with the tineco and saved me some doll hairs lol. When it dies I will be considering that shark for sure! Great comparison of all these vacs & the first one I have seen actually show emptying the shark trash thingy so thanks for that! How did we live before these cordless vacs???

Love this insight. Side note, I had a cordless shark that began to stink about a month after using it- like burning rubber, I mean really badly. I only have hard surfaces in my house, so it left me perplexed and I found reviews to confirm the issue. I sometimes put essential oils into my vacuum filters because it makes me happy and unfortunately the Shark had to be returned to Costco. Bonus for buying vacuums, Costco will take them back months later if they begin to really have issues after the break-in period.
This is amazing, I love it! Can you do a video test g robot vacuum/mop units? I was to buy one but idk which is the best to choose. And since they’re so expensive, I want to make sure I buy the best one.
